An interpretive youth design from Tewa Tees. Children from around the world all share a common innocence and imagination. They are eager to learn from the adults around them and have fun doing it. Native American children are no different. They learn from the legacy of their ancestors, on that provides its children with a deep connection to the earth. Traditional stories bring the past into the present as storytellers share their knowledge with the children. Dancing is a very important part of Indian life, it teaches them spiritual development an greater personal responsibility. They become part of a whole an wholesome circle.
Tewa Tees founded by Santa Clara designer Betty Tsosie is located in Santa Fe, New Mexico, and offers a diverse selection of designs that represent Pueblo and Native American culture and symbolism.
