This lovely olla bowl (water jar) was handmade by Acoma Pueblo potters Earlene Antonio known for creating very elegant fine-walled vessels. Made in the traditional Acoma polychrome style of orange and black on a white background, this piece features hand painted geometric designs that represent rain, mountain ranges and other elements from the natural world.
