Zuni Pueblo artist Dane Malani, carefully handcrafted this beaver fetish from Picasso marble with turquoise eyes.

Fetishes are small carvings that depict animals or other important Native American icons. Many tribes and Pueblos of the Southwest are known for making fetishes, but this ancient art form is most closely associated with the Zuni, who are considered the most skilled fetish carvers.

Beaver measures 3-3/8" long and 1-1/8" wide, stands 1-5/8" tall. Comes with certificate of authenticity.
