Delores Lewis Garcia Traditional Design Ornaments

This traditional design ornament was handmade by Dolores Lewis, daughter of legendary Acoma Pueblo potter Lucy M. Lewis. This piece features a highly stylized animal patterns inspired by many great Acoma potters. Dolores is known for her adherence to traditional methods and her belief that there is a spiritual element in creating pottery, and these things are proudly displayed in this exquisite work.
